Antique LeMaire Paris Opera Glasses W/Case F.G. Altman Kansas City, Mo Pearl For Sale

I think this is the prettiest set on ! Here\'s a beautiful set of antique LeMaire Paris Opera Glasses with the original case. These appear to have been sold by the prominent Jeweler / Watchmaker - F.G. Altman from Kansas City, Missouri. On the \"face\" of the glasses, \"Orelle, Oct. 9/92\" is engraved into the glasses. The grey-toned mother-of-pearl finish on this set is also present on the \"neck\" of the glasses which extends out when adjusted (I do not see this on many of these). These could use a serious collectors \"cleaning\" (I do not want to hurt the finish). The glasses work as they should, but are a little tight turning. The image through the glasses is clear. The leather case has a silk -or- silk style fabric lining with a name (\"Mrs A.W. ...ee?\") Written into it. The case has some damage (see pics). Please look closely at all of the pictures for condition - or ask for more if necessary. Not only is this set beautiful, but it is dated, shows who sold them and who they were sold to (although not completely legible on the buyer\'s name).
