Antique Large 18th Century German Pewter Flagon 14" For Sale

Seller: Alley-Antiques DESCRIPTION: Antique Pewter. Nice large 18th Century pewter flagon. Flagons were used to hold liquid like beer, wine, cider, eyc... German. Guaranteed over 200 years old.  Lighthouse shaped body. Scroll handle. There are 2 touch marks on the handle that are too worn to read. Maker unknown. This flagon dates to the second half of the 18th century 1750s or 1790s. Circa 1770.  Over 200 years old, probably closer to 250 years old. Fair to good condition for age. The ball finial has a dent and is slightly bent. There are some dents ,(pictured). Lots of minute scratches and wear as expected on a piece of this age. Old non polished patina. Considering this is 200-250 years old and was used, it displays very nicely.  Very nice large example. Guaranteed over 200 years old. Measures about 14"  tall to top of ball finial.
