Antique Jennings Brothers (JB) cast metal jewelry casket box, Bridgeport CT, early 1900s. Heavy cast metal with a detailed repousse pastoral courting scene on the hinged lid, garland swags around the sides, ball feet, and a dark divided wood interior - great for jewelry, watches, or cards.
Stamped JB on the pebble-textured underside (see photos). Approx 7 3/8 x 7 x 2 3/8 inches.
Very good antique condition: honest patina and finish wear for its age, hinge works well, interior clean. Faint etched inventory numbers near the maker's mark underneath, shown in the close-up photos.
