Beautiful antique Japanese Arita porcelain bowl featuring elaborate Imari-style decoration in deep cobalt blue, iron red, green and gold.The interior is exceptionally detailed, with intricate geometric brocade-style patterns, scrolling blue decoration, florals and extensive gilt accents. The exterior is decorated with stylized floral and vine motifs, with a gilt rim.The underside bears a red Japanese maker’s mark with the distinctive stylized orchid emblem associated with Fukagawa/Koransha porcelain of Arita, Japan. Based on the mark and decorative style, this piece appears consistent with Meiji-era production, likely late 19th to early 20th century.A striking example of Japanese decorative porcelain and a beautiful display piece.Measurements:
