You're looking at a rare, unusual antique red glass darkroom pendant light by Burke & James, Chicago. This extraordinary piece is in excellent condition and dates to the early part of the 20th century. The glass lens is free from any chips or repairs and the stamped Hubbell fitter has a patent date of 1904. The only aspect of this light that isn't antique is the era-correct style 5' twisted black cord and the brass strain relief.
