Antique Handmade European Silver Monumental Mezuzah Case Hinged Lid With Bell For Sale

This piece was made in Eastern Germany in the 1890s and came to the US with my great-great grandmother in the early 20th century. The handmade continental silver piece was intricately carved and has withstood the test of time. The bell, turquoise cabochon, hinged lid, and hanger with the Shema Prayer all make it a one-of-a-kind piece. If I were still practicing I would never sell it, but it seems a shame to keep it empty in storage for the rest of my life.
