Antique Handmade Crazy Quilt Parlor Quilt 1890s - 74” X 55” For Sale

This Antique handmade Crazy Quilt or Parlor Quilt from the 1890s measures 74” x 55” and is made of silk. The green pattern backing may be cotton rayon. It does have some deteriorated pieces due to age. I purchased this at the estate of an avid doll collector.

I am selling this quilt in as is condition. The quilt is also lovely as a back drop to photograph other antique items. Please look at the pictures for condition. I do not accept returns. I am showing the red silk edging is shredded in several areas but an easy restoration. The back is very good condition but it has a couple of areas that show watermark. I have not tried to launder it. The quilt could be repaired and restored. ( I also have beautiful black silk for sale that would be perfect for restoration. Handmade in the United States, this original quilt features a patchwork square pattern, typical of Crazy Quilt style.
