These appear to be authentic hand-carved utilitarian sabots or klompen. I don’t have provenance but I believe my father or my grandmother bought them in Europe, probably some time in the 1930s. I don’t know what size they are but I wear a women’s size 9 and can’t come close to getting my foot in there.
