Charming antique set of four tiny hand-carved wooden dog figurines, including two Scottie/Scottish Terrier-type dogs, a Dachshund-type dog and another terrier-type dog.
These have been in our family for generations and originally belonged to my stepfather’s grandfather, placing them at over 100 years old based on family provenance.
Each dog is individually hand carved and painted, with wonderful primitive folk-art character, tiny carved details and naturally aged surfaces. No maker’s marks are visible, and the maker and country of origin are unknown.
All four have remained together and are being sold as a set. Please see photos closely for their antique condition and individual details.
