We are delighted to offer this antique carved wood multicolor floral painted elephant statue from Orissa, eastern India. This rare piece shows great charm and character. It is original and unrestored, with the gessoed paintwork weathered but still really quite pleasing, bearing in mind its great age, circa 1900. It measures approximately 9” high x 7.25” diameter 3.25” depth.
We appreciate your careful review of the photos as they tell so much more than we can articulate; and ask that you zoom in for a closer look at any and all condition issues.
We welcome questions and encourage you to ask before reaching a buying decision. Fixed rate shipping applies to US buyers only.
