This antique hand-carved dowry box is a beautifully crafted Indian wedding chest from the Rajasthani area. Made from wood and brass/ metal with delicate carvings, this box exudes the traditional Rajasthani style and elegance. The aging patina and primitive metal working of this box gives it the antique aesthetic showing its rich history and beautiful craftsmanship of the time. The latch fits snuggly and a lock can be put through it to keep it secure.
