Antique HARGRAVE CINCINNATI TOOL CO CAST IRON 36” BAR CLAMP No. 640 C For Sale

Hello there came from The grandfather's estate believe he used this for woodworking for clamping pieces of wood together I'm sure it can be used for whatever you wanted to clamp things together the handle still turns and the worm gear still goes up and down also when you push the button it allows the other part to go freely up and down the bar I believe these are called a 36-in but the actual length of the whole bar as you can see in the picture appears to be about 38 and 1/2 in I do not know much about these I tried to take many pictures I believe it still works as it should it does have a thin layer of oil on it just to help with the oxidation it doesn't appear to be all bent up or anything like that definitely a neat piece even just for decoration but I believe you could still just use it as you would must have been from a time when things were actually built to last it appears Mark the Cincinnati tool company 640-c you will be receiving this one clamp that is in the picture it does have a wooden handle with a metal end I have it priced well below what I have seen others sell for so hopefully it helps you out and you're able to add it to your collection thanks for looking.
