This matching group includes four substantial glazed stoneware crocks originally used for H.J. Heinz fruit preserves.
Two crocks retain colorful original-style Heinz fruit advertising paper labels, includingPreserved Strawberries / Pure Food Productsgraphics. One crock retains a partialHeinz Fruit Preservespaper label referencing the Food and Drugs Act of June 30, 1906. One crock no longer retains its paper label.

Condition:
Antique condition with age-related crazing, discoloration, staining and surface wear. Paper labels show significant age-related loss, tears, fading and missing areas. One crock has a small chip at the upper rim. Original ceramic lids are missing. Wire bail hardware shows oxidation and age-related wear.
