Antique German handwoven grain sack, ca 1900, blue/red stripe, Horses Stenciling For Sale

German handwoven heavy linen grain sack with cream colored background and center blue/red stripe patten, ca. 1900 or perhaps earlier. Seams and the stitching for the “pouring spout” at the top are all hand done. Nice soft, supple fabric. Very clean condition. Measures 23” x 41”. Seams on both sides, so when opened the sack will be 82 inches long. Light stenciling in the front center of two horses and what is probably the name of the owner of the sack and town, but it is hard to make out. The sack has one repair at the very top front (pictured in 5th photo) and a repair on the backside near one seam (last photo), and that repair is very well done and hard to see it’s there. Otherwise in very good and clean condition.
