Antique German Paper Mache Candy Container ‘Skiing Elf’ For Sale

For sale is an antique German paper mache candy container in the shape of a Skiing Elf. I believe this piece is from the 1930’s. He is approximately 4” tall and 3” long and he has both of his ski poles. The base is marked .59 cents and is then marked down to .39 cents. The head comes off and the body is the container. The interior of the body has a decorated paper lining, but with the opening being so small, I was unable to capture it in the pictures. This piece has been well cared for and it is in very good condition. It shows signs of wear, but it is minimal.
