Striking pair of porcelain figurines from the late 19th or very early 20th century. Evidently German due to the thoroughness and excellence of the decoration, and reminiscent of the meticulous decoration of Meissen, but of indeterminate manufacture, due to the fact that the mark is hidden in the base, which is mounted on a wooden or conglomerate base and lined. in green velvet, very difficult and very risky to dismantle.
Measurement: About 17" high x 6" in diameter.
In very good antique condition.
