Beautiful antique bisque porcelain Piano Baby with Cat, measuring approximately 9–9½ inches long and believed to date to circa 1900–1915.This charming figure depicts a reclining/crawling baby affectionately embracing a white cat. The baby wears a pale blue romper decorated with delicate hand-painted red berry and green leaf accents, with raised bead detailing around the collar. The figure features finely molded hair, expressive blue eyes, rosy cheeks, and beautifully modeled fingers and toes. The cat has painted green eyes, black ears and markings, and an expressive open mouth. The figure is unmarked. Based on the design, workmanship, period characteristics, and comparison with documented and closely matching examples, this piece is attributed to Gebrüder Heubach of Germany, a manufacturer especially well known for its highly detailed bisque piano babies and character figures of this period.Because no factory mark is present, the Gebrüder Heubach attribution and circa 1900–1915 date are based on comparison and are not represented as factory-confirmed.Details:* Approx. length: 9–9½ inches
