This 4 3/4" x 2 1/2" clip is PERSONALLY HAND-SIGNED by BENJAMIN RASPAIL
In 1874, following the death of Eugene Lavenant, Raspail took over as Mayor of Arcueil as "premier conseiller inscrit au tableau." He was also a member of the conseil general for Seine.
The bold signature is in fountain pen and measures 2 3/8" long.
Autograph has no rips, tears, holes, or repairs.
