Antique Florentine Jewelry Box with House of Medici & Florence Heraldic MotifsApprox. 11.5"L x 5"W x 7.5"H
Beautiful antique Florentine jewelry box with hand-painted heraldic decoration featuring Medici-style balls and Florentine fleur-de-lis motifs. The gilded finish was created using genuine gold leaf, and some original loose gold leaf remnants are still present inside the box.
This is a true antique piece and shows age-related wear to the paint and finish consistent with age and use. The legs were repaired in the past. Signs of the repair are visible, but it was done well. The box stands firmly and does not wobble.
A beautiful and authentic antique display piece with wonderful old-world character.
