Highest quality 8-day wind twotrain suspension spring solid brass plate unrestored FRENCH movement in working conditioninserted into a polishedblack & gray stone case ornately gilded & incised decorative motifs etchedinto the clock case; a raised horizontal base on which stands the black stone caseflanked by gray stone pieces; clear beveled cut glass round door panel reveals a3 ½” diameter enameled white clock face (near perfect condition) surrounded byan ornately designed gilded brass bezel; Roman numerals & black Fleur delys clock hands; stonework masterfully executed to resemble a Greek temple; smallsized clock case in near perfect condition – free of any stone nicks (minorcrack in upper right black stone face – see photo); clock case sides appear tohave had other ornamental side trim applied & previously removed & patched where blackstone is discolored; a small FAST/SLOW adjustment gear centered above numerals;gilded brass door frame fitted with a clear heavily beveled glass (minuetscratch) snaps shut against the gilded ornately designed clock surround; thebackside contains a second hinged pierced brass door set into a brass doorframe as a friction fit; the cast nickel bell resonates beautifully within the clockcase; both movement & bell assemblies are mounted securely to case.

I am NOTa retailer. I am an antique clock collectorwishing to reduce my clock collection. Thisclock comes from my collection & has been running successfully for severalyears with no difficulties. It has beentested prior to this offering. Clockset-up to establish the correct “beat” is paramount to the clock’s operation,accomplished through placement & leveling (sometimes with rotating themovement while in the clock case).Additionally, temperature & humidity may affect it over time aswell. Do not over wind the clock. Lastly, I cannot guarantee the clock’soperation once shipped. However,I do take prideas a seller of the clocks & offer assistance with set up as maybe necessary through email.

Allshipments will be CAREFULLY & PERSONALLY WRAPPEDin bubble wrap (key & pendulum wrappedseparately) set tightly into box containing foam peanuts, tapped shut& then placed into second box (as may be necessary) filled with padding foradded protection, taped shut on all sides.

Any major defect will bestated & a photo associated with this defect is provided which is intendedto illustrate the extent of the defect. Onoccasion, Seller may miss something. Therefore, please notify Seller if Buyerdetects any inaccuracy so that Seller may address it immediately. Seller caresgreatly about Buyers, making sure the Buyer gets exactly what they want, &that Seller is ready to hear from Buyers.

Unless stated otherwise, all clocks are tested & found ingood working order when listed will be tested prior to shipping to complete any finaladjustments to ensure proper working conditions prior to shipping.

Clock set-up assistance may be offered to the Buyer, via email,to help with making clock adjustments as a courtesy. Alternatively, if Buyer isunsure about making adjustments to the clock, Buyer may wish to enlist aclockmaker at Buyer’s expense.

Lastly, be aware that “Antique”, “Vintage” & “Pre-Owned” clocksgenerally don\'t keep perfect time.
