This antique European Gothic church altar table was crafted in the second half of the 20th century. Constructed from oak, the front features two openwork tracery panels with pointed arches, quatrefoils, and central floral rosettes. Carved columns with foliate capitals and additional rosette details frame the panels.The broad rectangular top provides substantial altar or display space. At its center is a Belgian marble altar stone inset marked with five crosses, a traditional altar design associated with the Five Wounds of Christ. Its ecclesiastical symbolism and architectural carving give the piece a strong presence for a church, chapel, or private devotional space.Like all our antiques, it was thoughtfully sourced in Europe, imported to our Oregon warehouse, and carefully finished with antique-grade paste wax to preserve its beauty for years to come.Condition:
