Antique Copper Lustre Creamer Pitcher Blue & Tan Bands Beaded Rim Footed For Sale

A charming small antique copper lustre creamer, finished in a warm metallic copper glaze accented with banded decoration. The bulbous lower body carries two soft powder-blue bands separated by a speckled tan band, with a second tan band around the neck, fine painted pink-lustre pinstripes, and a thin grey-blue line below the rim. A molded beaded border circles the neck just below the rolled lip.
The jug stands on a stepped pedestal foot and has a pinched beak spout and a loop handle with a curled upper terminal. The interior rim and spout are lustred, and the inside bowl has a pale grey-white glaze. The underside is lustred inside the foot ring and is unmarked.
The form, banding, and beaded neck are typical of English lustreware made through the 19th century. A lovely piece for lustreware collectors, cottage or farmhouse display, a cabinet grouping, or a small posy vase.
Measures approximately 3 1/4 inches tall to the rim.

Condition:Good antique condition, with wear consistent with age and use. Lustre wear and rubbing is heaviest on the spout, which shows a pale gold, patchy area. There is also lustre wear along the top of the handle, around the foot rim and foot ring, and a few small spots on the body. Scattered small dark spots and specks in the glaze appear to be original firing flaws.
A fine dark line runs vertically through the lustre on the body beside the handle. It may be a glaze or firing line or a hairline, so please review the detailed photos closely. The interior shows a small dark kiln speck. No chips observed to the rim, spout, handle, or foot. Light shelf wear, grime, or discoloration may be present. Sold as found.
