Rare Large 1950s Chesterfield Cigarettes Outdoor Advertising Banner Sign 40x42
Original circa 1950s Chesterfield Cigarettes outdoor advertising sign, featuring bold classic graphics and the “Much Milder” slogan. This large-format advertising piece measures approximately 40 x 42 inches and was manufactured for use as a durable promotional display.
The sign is original and not a reproduction and remains structurally sound and sturdy for its age. It shows expected vintage wear including creasing, edge wear, surface scuffs, staining, and several tears consistent with long-term use and storage.

Manufacturer text printed on the reverse states that the sign is weatherproof and adaptable for either outdoor or interior display, with installation instructions recommending the use of large-headed tacks placed along the edges and throughout the center approximately eight inches apart.
Despite visible wear, the sign retains good body and integrity, with strong, legible graphics and excellent wall presence when framed or mounted.
