Antique American center-draft kerosene/oil lamp featuring a clear molded glass font, brass-tone burner and clear glass chimney. The burner adjustment wheel is marked M.B. Co. N.Y., associated with Manhattan Brass Company of New York, while the separate side filler cap is embossed MILLER.
The glass font features a distinctive molded geometric band around the shoulder and a side-fill design. Wide wick is present along with the burner cone/flame spreader and four chimney supports.
Shows expected antique wear including brass patina, tarnish, oxidation, discoloration and surface wear. Glass shows age and normal manufacturing characteristics/mold seams.
