The outer edges of the paper sheets have minor tattering and chips (as shown in the laid-out photos). These imperfections are fully hidden and protected when the pieces are layered inside the frame.The Frame: Features heavy, authentic antique wear. There is significant flaking, chipping, and distressing to the gold/white paint layer, creating a highly desirable, rustic "chippy" aesthetic. The wooden structure detailed around the frame is fragile due to its age . I packaged any loose pieces I had into a small bag to include.
