Beautiful wood plaque with raised hand carved detail to center. This originated from a farmhouse in the Adirondacks, where it hung on the wall like a painting (there is a tiny hole at one end for a nailhead). Likely quite old, and I could not find another example of anything similar. Measures 16\" by 14.5\", with a half-inch thickness. In excellent condition overall - no nicks, no chips, no stains, just some light soiling to edges. Wonderful piece - this has great presence in spite of its simplicity.
