Antique Catholic rosary featuring individually carved cream-colored beads, an ornate carved heart-shaped center, and a decorative cross fitted with a small Stanhope/optical viewer. The rosary has lovely age-related coloration and dark metal chain links that complement the carved beads.
The optical viewer is present, but the internal lens/image appears cracked or damaged and a clear image cannot be viewed. Please see close-up photographs for condition. The carved cross itself remains very decorative and unusual.
Shows expected age-related wear, discoloration, patina, and minor surface imperfections. I have not cleaned or polished the rosary in order to preserve its original condition.
