Antique CJO JUDD Cat Cast Iron Doorstop USA
A staple of early 20th-century interior decor, Judd doorstops are highly prized by collectors of antique metalwork and feline enthusiasts. This specific model captures an alert, sitting cat, featuring deep, textured casting to render the fur and distinct paws. The piece retains excellent elements of its original factory paint, including a cream and tan base coat, dark spotting, and deeply set, painted eyes. Thanks to its substantial solid iron construction, it remains perfectly functional for propping open heavy doors or serving as a handsome, rustic bookend on a mantle or shelf.
