Antique Elegant Art Nouveau Beautiful Brass and Vaseline/ Uranium cut Glass Table Lamp. Imposing 26 inches, monumental accent, focal point ideal for prominent display, credenza or accent table, not a boudoir small lamp.
The lamp has a shaped of an Urn /ewer / amphora with brass double handle and Vaseline Glass body, the glass is cut although out. All the brass -neck, the footing,handles and finial - are highly decorated with acanthus leaves and beaded edges,exhibits a rich,unpolished or lightly patinated finish characteristic of the early 1900s.Cut-EtchEwer Body: The central body isshaped like a classic ewer (a pitcher with a graceful spout and handle shape)and features hand-cut or etched decorative patterns that catch and refractlight.The lamp rests on a 5-sided marblebase typical of the early 1900’s
