Antique Brass \"Conquistador\" Slipper Stirrups — Matched Pair
A pair of antique brass equestrian stirrups in the classic closed-toe \"slipper\" or shoe form associated with Spanish and Spanish Colonial riding tack. Each is hand-decorated with repoussé shell medallions, scrolling foliage, and floral motifs, with the traditional triangular pierced tread on the underside.
One stirrup is stamped with the numeral \'7\'; the other bears a small cross mark — both consistent with the workshop inventory or sizing marks commonly found on genuine Spanish Colonial stirrups of this type
