Antique Bohemian Turquoise Blue Glass Triple Inkwell Art Deco Desk Stand For Sale

Bohemia, Present-Day Czech Republic (Attributed) | Early 20th Century | Art Deco Style | Three Hinged Metal Lids

A beautiful and unusual antique triple inkwell desk stand, crafted from substantial transparent turquoise blue glass, featuring three individual ink reservoirs with hinged metal lids and an integrated pen rest.

The striking turquoise colour, geometric construction and symmetrical design create an elegant writing accessory reminiscent of traditional Bohemian glassmaking and early 20th-century Art Deco craftsmanship.

This attractive desk inkwell is attributed to the historic Bohemian glassmaking tradition, associated with the region of Bohemia in the present-day Czech Republic.

Bohemia has a long history of producing decorative glass objects, including coloured glass, cut glass and elegant accessories for writing desks.

The vivid turquoise blue glass, substantial construction and architectural design are consistent with the decorative traditions of Central European glassmaking.

Bohemian origin is an attribution based on style and construction. The exact manufacturer and place of production have not been independently confirmed.

The inkwell features a distinctive geometric design with clean lines, polished surfaces and a symmetrical arrangement of three individual ink reservoirs.

The substantial turquoise blue glass base is shaped with decorative bevelled edges and an integrated recessed pen tray at the front.

Each ink reservoir is fitted with a hinged metal lid, showing attractive natural patina and signs of age.
