This is an antique Carl Schumann Bavaria reticulated charger plate featuring a classical Grecian scene with three women.

The porcelain dish measures approximately 7 inches in diameter and has a distinctive pierced, open-lattice border with gold accents. This dish belonged to my grandmother hence the piece of cloth tape with her name, which can be easily removed. I don\'t remember my grandmother using it.

These plates were produced in Germany, often dating to the early 1900s.

I have collected pottery for a number of years and know the disappointment of receiving a piece that has broken in transit. I will do my best to insure that your purchase is well-packed for safe delivery at a reasonable price.
