Antique Austrian Vienna Bronze Grouping of 2 Sealyham Terrier Dogs with Basket
A Superb Austrian Cold-Painted Vienna Bronze (Bronze de Vienne, Wiener Bronze) of Two Sealyham Terrier dogs with a basket. Dating to c. 1900-1910.
All three pieces, which are connected to each other, are signed AUSTRIA on the bottom. The larger dog is without a rear back leg, which may have been an aesthetic or practical decision (to enable the dogs to join evenly with the basket) because the underside is painted.
