Antique Arts Nouveau Nippon Moriage Gilt Plate~Lavender & Greens Florals~9”.
A beautiful Nippon plate from the Arts &Crafts period. Estimated date 1900 to 1920 ( Nippon mark indicates this piece is 1920 back to 1879.
Moriage are the fine, ver tiny applied raised dots on the piece, in this case they are gold.
A hand painted piece with much gold and on porcelain.
See pictures on condition. No chips no cracks, some wear to the gold on the center ring.
Lovely colors, a wonderful Arts and Crafts motif in greens and lavender. A cabinet, display piece.
