Antique Art Deco Royal Dux Porcelain Figurine, Dancing Sisters, Figurine. 11\" H For Sale

A Royal Dux Bohemia porcelain figurine designed by artist Elly Strobach and manufactured in Czechoslovakia. The piece depicts two young women in a synchronized dance pose on an oval white base. The figures are dressed in floor-length cobalt blue skirts decorated with hand-painted overglaze gold floral motifs and white off-the-shoulder blouses with gold-trimmed ruffled collars. Both figures feature bobbed hair and are barefoot. The underside of the base bears a raised pink triangular porcelain mark containing the characters Royal Dux Bohemia and an acorn symbol with the letter D. The base is impressed with the model number 3393 over a vertical line and Roman numerals II, with a small impressed number 2 above. A green circular stamp reads Made in Czechoslovakia, and the word Czechoslovakia is faintly impressed into the porcelain near the edge. The top surface of the base features the impressed signature of the designer, Elly Strobach.
