Up for sale is a beautifully made, highly detailed antique architectural model house. Thiswonderful folk art piece represents an early 20th-century historical replica ofa traditional timber-framed building (Fachwerkhaus). It is intricately paintedwith traditional black-and-white structural beams and geometric contrastdesigns, giving it a classic Tudor-style country appearance. The highlight ofthis piece is the masterfully executed, dense textured thatch-style roof, whichfully lifts away from the main building structure to allow access inside. Thismakes it an exceptional conversation piece or a unique display for miniaturecollectors. The structure sits mounted on a flat, low-profile wooden displaybaseboard.
Condition Report:
The model shows authentic, honest age-related vintage wear that adds to its historicfolk-art charm. The perimeter baseboard material is a little thin and showsminor edge wear consistent with its age, but the main building remainsstructurally secure and wonderful overall.
