Antique 20thC Nymphenburg Porcelain Demitasse Cup Porzellan Tasse Germany German For Sale

For sale is a nice little demitasse cup made by Nymphenburg in the early 20th century . A really nice piece from this period with a perfect blend of a superb shape with a matte blue ground color and lots of superb tooled gilding. Fully gilded handle and inside. A nice color combo for sure! I always really like the matte ground colors but they are so rare that one does not see them often. I think they look much better with the nice gilding than a shiny ground color. The handle has a nice shape to it. The piece is just under 2.75 inches tall including the handle and 2.375 in diameter. It is marked with the under glaze green shield mark with the word Nymphenburg underneath as well as a hard to see impressed partial shield mark. The cup displays nicely but the handle was broken and repaired along with the edge where it attaches as shown. Could be done a bit better but works as is. Worthy of having it properly restored for sure. No saucer! It\'s a great example that one really never sees anymore. I also own a few other pieces from this set I will add to the site.
