Here for your consideration is one (1) of a small groupof Vatican mint cast St. Benedict crosses that will be offered for saleindividually that were formerly from the estate of Catholic CardinalBonaventura Cerruti.
These were all acquired by Bertha (the founder ofChurch-Woman Antiques), in 1933 directly from the Cardinals private secretary;the Cardinal would give them as gifts to VIP patrons of the Church. They havenever been blessed or worn, and the patinas are unique to each cross. The crossis 1.75 inches long and weighs 9 grams of solid bronze.
