Antique circa-1920s solid bronze frog pulling a snail shell planter or decorative bowl, featuring a wonderful naturally aged verdigris patina.This whimsical early 20th-century sculpture depicts a stylized long-legged frog pulling a large ribbed snail shell. The shell forms an open vessel that can be used as a small planter, catchall or decorative bowl.The piece has excellent aged patina, with rich dark bronze tones and extensive blue-green verdigris throughout the recessed areas. The surface has been left as found and has not been polished, preserving the character and appearance developed over many years.Approximate dimensions:
