This original owner’s manual was produced to help install, operate, adjust, and maintain Ferro marine engines. It contains detailed operating instructions, installation information, wiring diagrams, maintenance procedures, troubleshooting advice, and numerous illustrations of engine components and mechanical systems. This has the dealer stamp on the front " James L. Wait & Co., 1205 Michigan Avenue, Chicago.
The title page proudly identifies Ferro Machine & Foundry Co. as the “Largest Marine Engine Builders in the World,” making this an excellent piece of early American marine engineering history.
