Antique 1909 Composition School Notebook Folk Art Drawings & Paper Dolls Lot For Sale

Up for sale is a wonderful turn-of-the-century childhood ephemera lot found at an estate sale.Antique Composition Book (c. 1900-1910s): Features beautiful Art Nouveau cover typography. Inside contains period elementary schoolwork, including a transcription of Helen Hunt Jackson’s poem "September", multiplication tables, and spelling lists. Notably includes two charming, naive hand-drawn pages—one of a dalmatian-spotted horse and one of colored dress designs. Cover shows wear, and there are tears on the bottom of the drawing pages (see photos).Antique Paper Dolls (c. 1910): Three authentic magazine cutouts found preserved inside the notebook. Includes a young girl doll, a long white dress outfit, and a yellow wicker baby pram/carriage. The reverse side of the carriage shows vintage crochet pattern motifs from the original magazine page.Please see all photos for exact condition details.
