Antique 1896 William McKinley Campaign Button 1-3/16" Gold Foil Bow Pin For Sale

Rare, authentic 1896 William McKinley presidential campaign button. This scarce political pinback measures $1\ \frac{3}{16}$ inches in diameter—representing a premium, non-standard oversized die size—and features a crisp black-and-white photographic portrait set against a reflective metallic gold foil background.

The History: Issued during his landmark first presidential campaign of 1896, this button showcases McKinley's classic profile set against a delicate metallic gold leaf presentation, crowned with a printed tricolor red, white, and blue ribbon bow motif. Because 1896 gold foil transfers are highly fragile, surviving oversized examples are heavily hunted by advanced political collectors.
