Antique 1876 Centennial John Hancock / Liberty Bell Milk Glass PlatterBeautiful antique opaque white milk glass commemorative platter produced for America’s 1876 Centennial, celebrating 100 years since the Declaration of Independence.The center features a raised Liberty Bell surrounded by the molded inscription “1776 Declaration of Independence 1876.” The decorative scalloped border bears “100 Years Ago,” with a large molded John Hancock signature along the lower edge. Shell motifs form decorative tabs at each end.Measurements: approximately 11” long × 7” wide.This is the 1876 Centennial design, not the later 1976 Bicentennial version.
