Antique 1800\'s Sepia Photograph Owsley Women Lincoln Chautauqua Illinois Dog For Sale

Here is a fabulous Antique Sepia Photograph of 7 Women of the Glencoe, Illinois Owsley Family. This photo from the 1800\'s is in a roughly 8\" x 10\" wood and gesso frame. Notably, one of the women is Mrs. Ella Brainerd of Lincoln, Illinois, who was a highly prominent figure in Logan County History. She owned the 120-acre estate that later became the famous Lincoln Chautauqua grounds. Her home in Lincoln still stands as a historical site. The women are all attired in late Victorian era clothing and there is a dog on the floor in front of them. The photo does not fit the entire frame but has been preserved under glass and has age appropriate wear.
