Beautiful Mastana - Tablecloth weaved in the Community of Ccatca. This tablecloth, called Mesa quepe or mastana, is used by the Paqos as a tool for a ceremony called despacho, pago a la Pachamama ( pay to Mother Earth). The mesa quepe is essential because all the items are set on it. This Cloth was woven in one of the Q\'ero communities named Ccatca, located by the Q\'eros Nation close to the town of Paucartambo - Cusco. This mastana has geometrical designs. The fine art details on this work took several weeks to finish. This textile will be a great addition to your collection. As I mentioned before, these clothsare used traditionally as altar cloths for one\'s \"mesa\" (or shamanic altar) or as a surface for doing coca leaf divination. However, they are also very lovely and unique for use in home decor, table coverings, etc.
PACHAMAMA.- Pachamama ( Mother Earth) in Quechua is the central all - surrounding motif of the Andean path. The religion of the Andean communities is very much an earth-centered religion. Pachamama is believed to be a vastly intelligent, self-aware being who is both infinitely wise and infinitely compassionate. Andeans in general, and paq\'os in particular, pray to her regularly.DESPACHO - HAYWARISQ\'A.- Is the Quechua word for an offering. A despacho is an act of love and a reminder of the connections we share with all beings, elements, spirits, and sacred places. It is an opportunity to enter into the essential unity of all things. A despacho is created during a celebratory ceremony, in the cosmology of the Andes.

For more than 22 years, I have traveled and worked alongside the Indigenous descendants of the Andes, building trusted relationships with Quechua artisans and communities throughout the mountains of Peru. Through these connections, I am honored to offer authentic Peruvian blankets, ponchos, ceremonial textiles, handwoven garments, folk art, and traditional spiritual items that reflect the living heritage of the Andes.
Beyond offering authentic handmade pieces, I enjoy sharing my knowledge of Andean traditions and culture with others who are interested in learning about the rich spiritual and artistic legacy of the Inca and the Quechua people.
My own spiritual journey began in childhood. A lifelong search for meaning and wisdom eventually led me to the sacred mountains of Peru, where I discovered a deep appreciation for Andean culture, its people, and their enduring traditions. That journey continues to inspire every item I carefully select and offer.
