This is a very rare (NONE OTHER ON ) older antique set made by American Lenox Belleek.
The set is comprised of SIX matching cups and saucers in superb near MINT condition. They all bear the official Lenox Belleek makers mark (GREEN PALETTE) on the underside of ALL 12 pieces dating them back as far as 1906 through 1924. The cups all also bear a engraved number 943.
In the late 1800s The Ceramic Arts Company became Lenox and continued to make Belleek up until 1930. Lenox, at present, is the only company that is still in existence which produced Belleek in America years ago. This is a gorgeous & beautifully cared for set which is exceptionally well made, and exquisite in its detail. 24K Hand Painted gold surrounds the top rim of the tea cup and rim of the saucer. The cup handle is also decorated with gold. An exquisite turquoise dot is surrounded by gold dots to form a pattern just below the rims of BOTH the cups & Saucers. A single or group of 2 or 3 delicate Pink roses set in deeply detailed greens adorn both the cup & saucer all the way around.
ALL SIX matching tea cup & saucers present in excellent to virtually MINT UNUSED CONDITION. Gold rims are in near MINT condition, despite its great age. All the pieces are free of chips, cracks, scratches, and repairs. Each and every piece truly looks incredible for being 100 years old, with absolutely no issues to report.
