Up for sale/sale is a classic antique Adams & Westlake Co. "Adlake Reliable" railroad lantern, featuring the highly sought-after red glass globe.
Manufacturer: The Adams & Westlake Co. (New York, Chicago, Philadelphia)
Markings: Top dome is clearly embossed with "THE ADAMS & WESTLAKE CO." / "ADLAKE" / "RELIABLE" / "NEW YORK CHICAGO PHILA". Patent dates are embossed around the rim (including Sept. 21, 1897, May 5, 1908, etc.). The red globe features embossed lettering.
