I picked these up during a trip to Naples, visiting three different comic shops specifically looking for Italian Absolute Batman. Issues#1 and #2 were the only copies I found in one of the 3 stores. These came off Italian shelves, not from an online import lot.
CONDITION
Both books are raw and ungraded, and both have small defects at the spine edge that I want to state plainly. I would rather describe them conservatively and have you be pleased than the other way around.
ISSUE #1

• Front cover presents very well — strong color, good gloss, excellent eye appeal. Both top corners are sharp and the fore edge is clean.
• Two or three small points along the front spine edge where the color is broken at the extreme edge. Minor, but present.

• On the back cover, along the spine-side edge near the top, roughly one inch of the edge is very slightly raised and shows white along the extreme edge.
• Light softening at the lower-right corner and minor handling at the corner extremities.
• No folds or heavy creases. No tears. No staining or water damage.
• No writing or stickers. No crushed corners. No spine roll.
• Back cover is otherwise clean and glossy, with the Batman e Robin advertisement displaying well.

ISSUE #2

• Attractive copy with strong color, good gloss, and solid presentation. The right-side corners are sharp and the fore edge is
• clean and straight.
• Several small points of rubbing and white exposure along the front spine edge, five or six spots in total; they are visible in the photos.
• Slight softening at the front lower-left corner and light handling at the upper left.
• Light handling at one or two back-cover corners.
• No folds or heavy creases. No tears. No staining or water damage.
• Back cover is clean, with the Absolute Wonder Woman advertisement displaying well.

BOTH BOOKS

• From the exterior these look to me like VF to VF/NM copies. No numerical grade is claimed or implied, and neither book is offered as a 9.4, 9.6, or 9.8 candidate.
