ANTIQUE Yale University huge school seal Limoges China teapot, 9 5/8" tall OLD For Sale

Up for offer is an amazing antique teapot which has the Yale University school seal on one side and a blue pennant image on the other. It has a very faint "Limoges China" mark on the bottom. This is huge, likely bigger than you'd expect at 95/8" tall and it weighs around 3.75 lbs. It has an unusual lid that has to be turned into the proper position in order to be removed. It's in good condition overall, with no major damage seen, however there is a lot of crazing here, mainly around the two Yale images. Those are the little cracks in the finish or glaze and they have darkened over time. There does appear to be one crack in the piece itself, that vertical one through the school seal. I can see this inside the pot, but it is completely smooth when I run my finger over it. A very nice addition to your Yale or vintage collegiate collection!
