ANTIQUE PAIR OF LARGE DERBY ENGLAND PORCELAIN FIGURES 17-18TH CENTURY 10.5\"
Pair of Derby porcelain figures of young woman and young man playing instruments late 18th century England. The young woman is shown playing an early musical instrument known as dulcimer, a type of zither. Both she and the young man are positioned near the same style of foliage. The young man is shown playing a tambourine. Both figurines are marked on the underside with a red, painted crowned D mark over the glaze used circa 1770-82 according to Gooden\'s Encyclopedia of British Pottery and Porcelain Marks.
Both figures are in very good condition with minor bocage losses and imperfections as shown. Age related wear. See pictures for detailed description.
